Life Update, Some Valo Fun, and League (of Legends) News

Haven't written in quite a bit. Got some fun videos for you, though.

So for the first time in a few months, I’m working a full-time job and two part-time projects. It feels good to be earning a decent amount again. It certainly makes me feel I’m worth a bit more now.

Anyway with the first week of my new job setup behind me, I’m finally able to play a good amount of Valorant, League, and Genshin again.

Here’s a quick 4v1 clip I got in my first few games in:

Gottem. Hahaha. I was never really good at the game, but hey, I get mine.

League: My Heroin Relapse

So I recently got back to playing League of Legends, my old college drug and I think I’ve been doing pretty well. I’ve been reading up on the meta and it seems like jungling in general has been hit pretty bad.

If you’re like me and you haven’t been playing in a while, here’s a great video to get caught up on the changes:

I’ve been playing some duo queue with Kuya Emil and I’m still getting over 30 LP for every victory. I think if I play enough games, I might hit platinum — but the works has got to come first so it’s gonna be a challenge.

Life Update

So I discovered something with a bit of introspection:

I feel like I equate my self worth with the amount of money I make and use to help my family in Marinduque and here in Manila.

I haven’t been a hundred percent mentally since July — and I seem to have been feeling even more down the past few months because of employment woes. It’s been rough, guys.

But now that I’m making a decent amount again, I’m gradually feeling more confident and I’ve started reaching out to a few friends again. I’ve been feeling strong urges to isolate the past two months and it hasn’t been a blast being alone in my head.

Making My Way Back Home

Overall, it’s been a tough couple of months. My Kuya Emil caught something bad health-wise so I visited him twice in the past 30 days. Good to spend time with the family again.

I haven’t been in Marinduque since June and I did miss the family. Seeing them gave my mental health a big lift.

In any case, I hope everyone stays healthy. It’s been a crazy couple of months so I hope you've been well.
