So, kinda awkward, right?

Honestly, the whole Animail thing was great, but let’s face it, it was a bust. I didn’t follow anime as regularly as I should have and didn’t have the time to keep binging. But, I did learn quite a bit though.

So since y’all gave me your email, I might as well share a few things with you while I'm here. My plans are at the very end so stick around to figure out what’s going on.

So, What’s New?

So, what, am I right?

So this time, I plan to just make this a hobby of mine, maybe check in and bring you some value every once in a while, and pray some of you stick around to read about my musings.

Now Onto the Exciting Stuff

I’m gonna be a dad soon and I’ve been thinking what kind of dad I’d be. My mind wandered quite a bit, and then it hit me:

I’m gonna be such a lame dad.

I’m 26 and I still like anime, games, and generally just geeking out about the stuff I like. God, this kid doesn’t stand a chance.

So, what if I turned this blog into a smorgasbord of the stuff I like as I experience them as a soon-to-be dad — with a full-time job and gamer friends and everything?

What I’m trying to do is attempt to represent the new breed of lame dads. No, not the ones with tucked plaid shirts, shorts, and sneakers (but maybe them, too). I’m talking about the ones playing DOTA half asleep after a full shift, those who buy games but never get the chance to play them, and the ones who have to go AFK from a game of league to tend to a crying baby. YES, THOSE DADS.

There’s still gonna be a lot of anime talk, but we’re adding in some new content like games, and maybe some sports. We’re just gonna be out here geeking out and that’s something I totally look forward to.
